♥Creating this one-of-a-kind paper clip chain with opalized petrified wood was an unforgettable journey, much like a cherished beach holiday. 🌊 The gemstone's unique blend of blue and dark hues brings back memories of the ocean and clouds. To highlight the stone's natural beauty, I cut the ocean waves and hollowed part of the back plate, allowing sunlight to shine through and illuminate the transparent opal.
♥ Made in my home studio from my Austin Texas, using time-consuming, traditional metalsmithing techniques. This piece is made with solid craftsmanship and all parts of this piece have been hand-fabricated.
